Teaching & Childcare Job Openings at River City Preschool in Peoria, IL

Our preschool teachers plan and lead engaging lessons and activities for children ages 3-5 years old. We look for candidates with some early childhood education coursework or classroom teaching experience. Responsibilities include:

• Developing weekly lesson plans
• Leading circle time, story time and learning centers
• Tracking each child's growth and development
• Maintaining a fun, safe classroom environment

We offer full-time and part-time preschool teacher positions with competitive pay, 401k with match, paid time off, and health benefits eligibility. Illinois teaching certificate preferred but not required.

Our childcare assistants provide attentive care and supervision for infants, toddlers and preschoolers during the day. Energetic team players who love working with young children are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include:

• Engaging children in games, arts & crafts and outdoor play
• Preparing snacks and meals
• Changing diapers and assisting with potty training
• Maintaining a safe, clean facility

We have part-time and full-time openings with flexible scheduling options possible. Previous childcare experience helpful but not required -- we provide paid training for new hires.
